Elven Reinforcements Massacred

Two groups of reinforcements, newly arrived from Ulthuan, have been massacred on the coasts of the Border Princes by their most hated of foes - the Dark Elves. The evil ones, using fast moving patrol forces ambushed both groups in turn, wiping them out. The elite training of the proud High Elves was no match for the chariots, knights and venomous hatred of their evil kin. The Dark Elves now control the Matorca Marshes and the entrance to the Tana Dante.

Elsewhere, another Elven patrol was halted in the lands outside Freihafen after sailing up the Tana Dante. Though this group fared better than the other patrols, they were unable to make much ground against the Sigmarites. Both forces withdrew, the Elves looking for somewhere else to make their landing, unaware that their kin were being slaughtered further down river.

The Dark Elves did not have it all their own way however. A small force was last seen wandering too close to the Achaes forest and was set upon by the beasts of those lands. These Elves were wiped out and the savage forces of Chaos returned to their forest to perform bloodthirsty celebrations in the name of their dark gods.
